Epicor analytics for
PE-owned manufacturers.

Marquis IQ connects to both Epicor Kinetic and the legacy Epicor ERP v9, extracting clean data from whichever generation your portfolio runs, and delivering industry analytics that BAQs and SSRS reports can't.

The Epicor analytics gap

Epicor records every transaction. Marquis tells you what they mean.

Epicor's Business Activity Queries and SSRS reports are operational tools, what shipped, what was invoiced, what's open. They're powerful for day-to-day queries but they're not analytics platforms. Cross-site trend analysis, ABCXYZ segmentation, Price-Volume-Mix attribution, and the kind of board-level reporting PE owners expect require a layer on top of Epicor's data, not better Epicor reports.

For portfolios running both Epicor Kinetic and the older ERP v9, the complexity doubles, two different connection methods, two different schemas, two separate exports to reconcile before you can answer the simplest portfolio-wide question.

Certified connectors

Both generations of Epicor. One certified connection each.

Schema-mapped to the specific version of Epicor, not a generic extract that loses the business context of how that ERP actually stores your manufacturing data.

Epicor Kinetic
Cloud + On-Prem

Epicor's current-generation ERP platform, formerly known as Epicor ERP 10. Marquis connects to Kinetic via the REST API and OData services. Epicor's own published interface, designed for reliable, version-safe data access. The connector handles Kinetic's regular cloud release cadence without downtime or manual intervention.

Epicor ERP v9
On-Premises

The legacy Epicor platform still running at thousands of manufacturing sites, built on Progress OpenEdge. Marquis connects directly via ODBC and SQL extraction, with schema knowledge specific to ERP v9's table structure, including the way Epicor stores multi-site, multi-company, and BOM data inside the v9 database model.

About Epicor: Epicor Software Corporation provides ERP solutions purpose-built for manufacturing and distribution. Epicor Kinetic is their cloud-native platform for mid-market manufacturers. Learn more at epicor.com.
Why Marquis for Epicor

Certified means we know Epicor's data model.

Writing a query against an Epicor database is straightforward. Knowing which tables hold the right data, how v9 stores multi-plant costs, or how Kinetic structures its financial dimensions, that's what took years to build.

REST/OData for Kinetic
Marquis connects to Kinetic via Epicor's published REST API, the integration layer Epicor designed and supports. When Kinetic updates (and it updates often), our connector stays current. No breakage, no manual fixes.
ERP v9 schema depth
ERP v9's Progress OpenEdge database has a non-obvious structure. We know where Epicor stores job costing, how multi-site inventory rollups work, and which tables to avoid, the hard-won knowledge that takes years with the system to accumulate.
Both generations, one dataset
PE portfolios rarely have all sites on the same Epicor version. Marquis maintains separate connectors for Kinetic and v9, then maps both to a common data model, one AR aging report, one revenue view, regardless of which version each site runs.
No migration pressure
Sites can stay on their current Epicor version. Kinetic or v9, while the portfolio runs on unified, clean analytics. No forcing a migration to unblock reporting. Connect now, migrate later if and when the business is ready.

Epicor gave us the transaction record. Marquis gave us the analysis. We finally stopped asking “where did that number come from” and started asking “what do we do about it.”
